Job Summary
Rise Resourcing is seeking an experienced Digital Trading Manager to join our client's Food team. As the Digital Trading Manager for the Food category, you will be responsible for driving the performance and growth of the Food categories across digital channels, ensuring that all strategies are executed to deliver maximum profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Digital strategy across the food categories, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
- Drive improvements in digital Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in line with commercial targets for the Food trading division.
- Produce a clear Food Category Plan, ensuring Digital Trading plays a pivotal role in the wider business success.
- Collaborate with other Trading Managers within the business on key projects to enhance the overall offering and drive the digital team's success.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Digital Trading Executives, ensuring targets are clear and consistent, and providing appropriate training needs to ensure the team achieves individual potential.
- Build strong relationships with strategic suppliers, engaging directly with digital teams to deliver win-win scenarios with these brands.
Requirements
- Proven experience of Digital Trading within Retail/FMCG.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Confident decision maker and user of sound commercial judgment, to prioritize, communicate, and deal effectively within the fast-changing retail sector.
- Strong team management experience, including leading, coaching, and mentoring a successful team.
- Confident and proficient in using data analysis and digital tools to interpret data and make sound commercial decisions.
