Job Description

Role Overview

Rise Resourcing is seeking an experienced Digital Trade Manager to join our team. As a Digital Trade Manager, you will be responsible for driving the performance and growth of our digital channels, ensuring that all strategies are executed to deliver maximum profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute digital strategies across our food categories.
  • Drive improvements in digital KPIs in line with commercial targets for our food trading division.
  • Produce a clear food category plan, ensuring digital trading plays a pivotal role in our business success.
  • Collaborate with other trading managers within the business on key projects to enhance our overall offering and drive digital team success.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of digital trading executives, ensuring appropriate training needs are identified to ensure the team achieves individual potential.
  • Build strong relationships with strategic suppliers, engaging directly with digital teams to deliver win-win scenarios with these brands.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of digital trading within retail/FMCG.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Confident decision maker and use sound commercial judgment, to prioritize, communicate, and deal effectively within the fast-changing retail sector.
  • Strong team manager experienced in leading, coaching, and mentoring a successful team.
  • Confident and proficient in using data analysis and digital tools to interpret data and make sound commercial decisions.
