Hays Accounts and Finance is pleased to offer a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Payroll and Pensions Specialist to join their payroll team in Glasgow city centre. This reputable company values its employees and provides a supportive work environment that fosters professional growth and development.

As a senior member of the payroll team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire payroll process, including monthly payroll runs, data analysis, variance identification, and report preparation for management. You will also handle various payroll matters such as P45s and P60s and ensure the accuracy of payroll transactions.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A strong background in payroll and pensions administration.
  • Proficiency in Sage and other relevant software.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
  • The capacity to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • A valid UK work visa or authorisation to work in the UK without sponsorship.

This exceptional opportunity comes with a competitive salary of £32,000 - £40,000 per annum, flexible working options, a Christmas Bonus, up to 4 weeks' holiday (with an additional week after 2 years), and a 3-5% employer pension contribution.]
