Job Overview

The role of Construction Contract Administrator presents a unique opportunity to deliver key projects within the Property and Consulting Services department of Glasgow City Council.

This position involves working with a team responsible for cost and contract administration duties on various council services. Key responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of cost estimates, tender document preparation, evaluation, negotiation, and contract administration under the guidance of the Assistant Group Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Assist in the development of tender documents and participate in their evaluation.
  • Negotiate and administer construction contracts according to established procedures.
  • Work closely with project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • HND level in Quantity Surveying or related field.
  • Possession of relevant professional certifications.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
