Internal Sales Executive

 

Company Overview:

Richard Austin Alloys is a leading independent aluminium and stainless steel stockholder with multiple locations throughout the UK. Since its formation in 1981, the company has invested heavily in its comprehensive stock range, modern warehousing facilities, and professional sales team.

 

Salary: Circa £25,000 + depending on age/experience + Profit Share Scheme + Company Pension after qualifying period

 

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively dealing with telephone and email enquiries, following the company lead process to make the most of sales opportunities, managing daily sales tasks, and building and nurturing long-term relationships with customers.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Proactive engagement with customers through telephone and email communication.
  2. Identification and pursuit of sales opportunities in accordance with company guidelines.
  3. Effective management of daily sales tasks and activities.
  4. Fostering strong, long-term relationships with customers to drive business growth.

 

Requirements:

  • A strong focus on service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Prior sales experience an advantage, but not essential.
  • Strong numerical skills and ability to work accurately.
  • High levels of motivation, energy, and tenacity.
  • Confident and articulate communication skills, with genuine charisma and enthusiasm.
