About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Islington, North London.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting teachers with classroom management and lesson preparation, providing 1-1 support for children with SEN, and adapting learning materials to meet the needs of every child.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers with classroom management and lesson preparation.
  • Provide 1-1 support for children with SEN.
  • Adapt learning materials and resources to meet the needs of every child in the classroom.
Requirements
  • Minimum education - Undergraduate Degree.
  • Experience working within the education sector is desired.
  • Academically strong and enthusiastic about education.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning.
  • An enhanced DBS on the online update service is desired but not necessary.
