Learning Support Assistant for SEMH/SEN Setting

Salary: £83.85 - £100 Per day (estimated)
About the Role:- As a dedicated learning support assistant, you will be responsible for providing individualised support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in a classroom setting.
- You will assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and work closely with teaching staff to ensure students receive the best possible support.
- Your role will also involve supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health issues (SEMH), helping to create a safe and nurturing learning environment.
- Support students with SEN in a classroom setting.
- Implement IEPs and collaborate with teaching staff.
- Provide emotional support and manage challenging behaviour.
- Supervise students during break times and outings.
- Teaching Assistant Level 1 qualification.
- Education background.
- Previous experience working with students with ASD and SEMH.
- First aid training.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
- Work primarily in a classroom setting.
- May involve occasional outings or trips with students.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and other support assistants.
