SEN and SEMH Learning Support Specialist

This is an exceptional opportunity for a First-Class Psychology Graduate to join a high achieving Ofsted graded 'Outstanding' school as a Learning Support Assistant. As a Psychology Graduate, you will work closely with experienced teachers and support staff to provide tailored support to students with SEN and SEMH needs. This is an excellent chance to gain valuable experience in a school setting and develop your skills as a Learning Support Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, a First-Class Psychology Degree from a Top 30 UK University, and aims to become an Educational Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEN and SEMH needs
- Assist teachers in the classroom and during lessons
- Develop and implement tailored support plans for students
Requirements:
- A First-Class Psychology Degree or related degree from a Top 30 UK University
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
