About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to support students' learning across Key Stage 3 and 4 in an Ofsted-graded 'Good' secondary pupil referral unit.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH) in an alternative provision or PRU school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with SEN and challenging behaviour
  • Engage all pupils and raise their attainment
Working Arrangements:

Initial long-term temporary period, with a view to offering a permanent contract at a later date. The salary for this role is £24 per hour, depending on experience and qualification.
