Job Title: Registered Manager - LD Residential Children's Home.

Location: Coventry, United Kingdom

At County Rents, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to lead the opening of our brand-new Residential Children's Home in Coventry. The home will provide specialist care and support for young people with learning disabilities, ASD, and associated needs.

As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. You will foster a nurturing environment where young people can flourish and develop their potential, effectively communicating with residents and staff members to address needs and concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Foster a nurturing environment where young people can flourish and develop their potential.
  • Effectively communicate with residents and staff members to address needs and concerns.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to staff members, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders to facilitate opportunities for further education and career advancement for young residents.
  • Uphold the company ethos of prioritising the well-being and development of young people.

Requirements:

  • QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services (to be obtained within 3 years of starting to manage the children's home) OR
  • Registered Managers Award/NVQ 4 in Health and Social Care and Management OR
  • Relevant management qualification (equivalent to the Level 5 Diploma).
  • Minimum of 2 years in a management position within residential care of children in the last 5 years.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience of line management/staff supervision of staff in a care role.
  • Worked within Ofsted inspection framework.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent.

Work Authorisation: United Kingdom (required).

Work Location: In person.

Shift and Schedule: Monday to Friday.
