Sales Development Executive

Our client, a leading organisation within the Construction sector, is seeking a highly motivated Sales & Account Manager to support their continued growth and success.
This role involves working between our office in Livingston and hybrid remote settings, targeting markets across Scotland, North England, and Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Activities: Engage in proactive outreach to identify and generate new business opportunities within the House Developer market.
- Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with potential and existing clients, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
- Opportunity Assessment: Examine the current prospects and leads in the sales pipeline together with new inbound leads. Follow up and focus on securing new order intake.
- Data Evaluation: Look at previous sales data and customer interactions to spot successful tactics and identify areas of improvement.
- Quotation Preparation: Prepare quotations and follow up with customers throughout the sales cycle.
- Growth Identification: Identify any areas in the existing pipeline where opportunities may be stalling or underdeveloped. Look for common trends or obstacles that might be slowing the sales process.
- Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth by leveraging effective sales strategies, understanding customer needs, and offering tailored solutions.
Requirements:
- Strong sales and account management experience, preferably from the Construction House Developer market.
- A successful track record of sales achievements within an environment with varying sales cycles.
- Experience in prospecting, sourcing leads, new contacts, and identifying potential new business.
- Previous experience in selling solutions and bespoke projects, products, and/or services.
- Commercial acumen and negotiation skills, developed in a multi-stakeholder environment.
- Excellent communication skills, providing excellent service levels to customers and internal colleagues.
- Multitasking and managing multiple sales processes at different stages of the sales cycle.
- Confident IT skills, including CRM and sales systems, plus MS Office.
- An excellent team player, comfortable working in a small, supportive team environment.
The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 per annum, reflecting local market rates and industry standards, plus sales bonus and company benefits.
