Accounts Assistant Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to support our client on an immediate temporary basis while they recruit for a permanent position. This role could potentially lead to a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the day-to-day management of the accounts receivable function within the finance team.
  • Support credit control activities.
  • Resolve queries related to sales ledger invoices and payments.
  • Process payments.
  • Generate and dispatch monthly statements.
  • Assist with the month-end sales ledger close.
  • Produce credit notes and refunds.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in credit control or finance.
  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and Outlook.
