About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Customer Experience and Sales Solutions Expert to play a pivotal role in our organization's critical commercial functions. In this position, you will be responsible for providing seamless pre- and post-sales support to existing and potential customers, leveraging your knowledge of Ingersoll Rand Pumps, MP Pumps, and Oberdorfer products, as well as their diverse applications. You will also actively manage customers from an inside sales perspective to identify and execute on incremental growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve customer applications and provide technical support.
- Examine projects and size pump opportunities to meet customer needs.
- Generate quotations and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Manage customer interactions through ERP, CRM, and customer support ticket management systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- +5 years of customer support and inside sales experience is preferred.
- Proven experience in applications and commercial support, preferably within the positive displacement pump industry or other industrial products sold business-to-business (B2B).
What We Offer
- A competitive salary of approximately £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Work Arrangements
- Ability to travel as required to deliver pre- and post-sales support (estimated 10% of time).
- 90% facility-based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.

- Demonstrated strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Exceptional customer relationship management skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficiency in using ERP, CRM, and customer support ticket management systems is highly preferred.
