Job Title: Pharmacy Advisor

King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Advisor to join our team. As a Pharmacy Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective preparation and dispensing of aseptically produced products in our isolators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and dispensing of aseptically produced products in isolators.
  • Monitor and clean the isolators and clean room, adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in the monitoring and cleaning rota of the isolators.
  • Comply with departmental Good Manufacturing Practice requirements.
  • Prepare documentation and labels using the pharmacy computer system.
  • Undertake transfer disinfection into the aseptic unit and isolators.
  • Check volumes of other staff in the aseptic unit after training and competence assessment.
Requirements:
  • GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent.
  • NVQ Pharmacy Level 2 plus accredited underpinning knowledge or equivalent.
  • Experience of dispensing medication.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice.
  • Knowledge of procedures for pharmacy services.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy computer systems.
