Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Advisor to join our team at Kings College Hospital. As a Pharmacy Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective preparation and dispensing of aseptically produced products in our clean room environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean Room Operations: Assist in the preparation and dispensing of aseptically produced products in isolators, and participate in the monitoring and cleaning of isolators and clean rooms.
  • Environmental Monitoring: Assist with the monitoring of the environment in Aseptic services, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and departmental procedures.
  • Documentation and Labeling: Prepare documentation and labels using the pharmacy computer system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in aseptic services and clean room operations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with pharmacists, technical staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent, NVQ Pharmacy Level 2 plus accredited underpinning knowledge or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience of dispensing medication, knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice, and knowledge of procedures for pharmacy services.
  • Skills: Good interpersonal, communication, written, and oral skills, as well as good computer skills for generating labels/worksheets and using Microsoft Office tools.
