Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Advisor to join our team at Kings College Hospital. As a Pharmacy Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient preparation and dispensing of aseptically produced products in our clean room environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Policy and Process:
  • To maintain a clean and organized clean room environment, adhering to strict protocols and procedures.
  • To assist in the monitoring and cleaning of isolators, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.
  • To participate in the preparation and dispensing of aseptically produced products, including cytotoxic drugs and CIVAS products.
  • To maintain accurate records and documentation, utilizing our pharmacy computer system.
  • To collaborate with pharmacists and technical staff to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Qualifications:
  • GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent.
  • NVQ Pharmacy Level 2 plus accredited underpinning knowledge or equivalent.
Skills and Experience
  • Essential Skills:
  • Experience in dispensing medication and knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and pharmacy computer systems.
