Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Pharmacy Assistant Trainee to join our team at Pharmacy2U Ltd. As a Pharmacy Assistant Trainee, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dispensary and providing excellent customer service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all prescriptions received are dispensed daily with high accuracy and quality.
  • Support the clinical team with day-to-day activities, including checking and preparing prescriptions.
  • Comply with P2U dispensary operations procedure and meet internal targets for dispensing quality and accuracy.
  • Adhere to all legal, ethical, professional, and company requirements.
  • Meet set targets for individuals and team to meet business targets in a high-volume environment.
  • Take ownership of prescription labelling and accuracy.
  • Work with key teams across the business, including customer service, purchasing, operations, and pharmacists.
  • Ensure that the workplace remains fun, relaxed, and friendly.
Requirements
  • IT literate with intermediate Excel skills.
  • Demonstrate drive, initiative, and proactivity in role.
  • Proven ability to work both as part of a bigger team and individually.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize tasks and workload.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Display high level of accuracy.
  • GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English Grade C or above.
  • It would be desirable if applicants held NVQ level 2 dispensing assistants' qualification.
