The Rent Arrears Coordinator role at Futures Housing Group is critical to our mission of delivering 'Great Places', 'Great Services', and 'Great Tomorrows'. We're seeking a skilled professional to manage rent arrears, prevent debt escalation, and ensure timely recovery of debts due to the organisation.

This role demands a deep understanding of customer needs, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You'll need to build strong relationships with customers, internal partners, and external agencies to achieve our goals.

A successful candidate will possess a strong customer focus, excellent organisational skills, and the confidence to represent the organisation at court and evictions. Knowledge of the benefits system is highly desirable.

A driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this role, given the geographical scope of our services.

Salary information: Estimated salary: £35,315

Key Accountabilities:

  • BUILD EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH CUSTOMERS AND PARTNERS TO DELIVER SEAMLESS CUSTOMER SERVICE.
  • PROACTIVELY ENGAGE WITH CUSTOMERS AND PARTNERS TO PREVENT DEBT OCCURRENCE OR ESCALATION.
  • IMPLEMENT DEBT RECOVERY PROCESSES AND PROCEDURES, ENSURING TIMELY AND APPROPRIATE ACTION.
  • REPRESENT THE ORGANISATION AT COURT AND EVICTION PROCEEDINGS.
