Meetings and Events Planning Manager

About the Role
Park Plaza London Waterloo is seeking a highly skilled Meetings and Events Planning Manager to join our team. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning large-scale hotel events, conferences, and meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and plan large-scale hotel events, conferences, and meetings
- Develop and implement event concepts and themes
- Work closely with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences
- Manage event budgets and ensure timely delivery of events
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless event execution
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in event planning
Requirements
- Proven experience in event planning, preferably in a hotel or conference agency setting
- Strong knowledge of conferences, menus, and event logistics
- Experience with Opera software and sales, catering, and room management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Passion for events and excellent hospitality
