Park Plaza London Waterloo offers everything a meeting planner could need under one roof, with an experienced events team to support at every stage from initial enquiry to a successful event execution. That is why your contribution as our Meetings and Events Planning Manager is so important.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and plan large-scale hotel events, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of conferences, menus, and other event-related details to provide exceptional service.
  • Utilize Opera experience (Sales & Catering & rooms) to drive service standards and encourage repeat business.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders daily to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Proactively drive incremental spending on events to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Communicate event details to hotel operational teams through the BEO in a timely and effective manner.
  • Nurture positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and drive loyalty.
  • Demonstrate passion for events and excellent hospitality, embodying the company's values: Trust, Respect, Teamwork, Enthusiasm, Commitment, Care.
  • Bring previous experience working in hotels M&E Planning (or conference agency) at Senior level to drive success.
