**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Event Planning Manager to join our team at Atlanta Events & Corporate Travel Consultants. As an Event Planning Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing corporate events, conferences, and meetings for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate corporate events, conferences, and meetings from conception to execution
  • Work closely with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences
  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring accurate financial management and reporting
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution
  • Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual equipment, and transportation
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop proposals
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their events are executed to their satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve event planning and execution

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in event planning, preferably in a corporate setting
  • Proven track record of planning and executing successful events, conferences, and meetings
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of event management software, such as Cvent
  • Ability to travel occasionally for events and meetings
