We are seeking a highly skilled Meetings and Events Planning Manager to join our team at Park Plaza. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning large-scale hotel events, conferences, and meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and plan events from initial enquiry to successful event execution
  • Work closely with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences
  • Develop and implement event concepts and themes
  • Manage event budgets and ensure timely delivery of events
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless event execution
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in event planning, preferably in a hotel or conference agency setting
  • Strong knowledge of conferences, menus, and event operations
  • Experience with Opera software and sales and catering systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Passion for events and excellent hospitality
