About the Role

The University of Northampton is seeking an experienced Academic Liaison Manager to join our team in Library, Learning and Student Services (LLSS). As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic community by providing expert guidance on information skills, collection development, and learning technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training programs for academic staff on information literacy, digital skills, and learning technology.
  • Collaborate with faculty members to design and implement effective learning support strategies.
  • Provide expert advice on collection development, including e-resource management and digital scholarship.
  • Contribute to the development of learning technology initiatives, including the University's virtual learning environment.
  • Work closely with student services teams to ensure seamless support for students.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Library and Information Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in academic librarianship, learning support, or education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of learning technology platforms and digital scholarship tools.
