About the Role
The University of Northampton is seeking an experienced Academic Liaison Manager to join our team in Library, Learning and Student Services (LLSS). As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic community by providing expert guidance on information skills, collection development, and learning technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training programs for academic staff on information literacy, digital skills, and learning technology.
- Collaborate with faculty members to design and implement effective learning strategies and resources.
- Provide expert advice on collection development, including e-book and database procurement.
- Contribute to the development of the University's learning technology strategy and implementation.
- Work closely with the Learning Technology team to ensure seamless integration of learning resources and tools.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Library and Information Science or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in academic librarianship, learning support, or education.
- Proven track record of delivering training programs and workshops.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
