We are looking for a highly skilled Patient Support Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and embedding a volunteer service within our hospital setting that supports patients and those closest to them in their final days. You will work closely with Voluntary Services and End of Life Care Leads to develop, implement, and evaluate a dedicated End of Life Care Volunteer program.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively in a busy environment, and a strong understanding of patient-centered care. They will also have experience of working in a healthcare environment, as well as knowledge of relevant policies and procedures. A background in social care or nursing would be beneficial but is not essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and improving patient outcomes. The salary for this position is approximately £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
