About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant primary school in Hastings. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education and creating a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons, ensuring that students receive the best possible education.
  • Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources, helping to create a well-organized and effective learning environment.
  • Work with individual students or small groups to provide additional support, helping to address their individual needs and promote their learning.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment, ensuring that students feel safe and supported.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teacher and contributing to the overall success of the school.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in a similar role, demonstrating your ability to support and motivate young learners.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting the teacher and contributing to the overall success of the school.
