About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant – Mentor to join our team at this exciting time. The ideal candidate will be an inspirational and supportive individual who can work with our pupils to access lessons and overcome challenges both in and out of the classroom.

The successful candidate will be a key member of our team, supporting our pupils to access lessons and overcome challenges both in and out of the classroom. They will work with class teachers to develop meaningful programmes and offer classroom and pastoral support.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, flexible and supportive person with an interest in at least one of the following areas: Hospitality, Art & Creativity, or Core & Academic subjects. They will have the ability to develop and sustain meaningful relationships and champion students who have struggled to access mainstream education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils to access lessons and overcome challenges both in and out of the classroom
  • Working with class teachers to develop meaningful programmes
  • Offering classroom and pastoral support
  • Developing and sustaining meaningful relationships with pupils
  • Championing students who have struggled to access mainstream education
