We are seeking an experienced Electoral Services Deputy Manager to join our team at New Forest District Council. As a key member of our electoral services team, you will play a crucial role in the effective delivery of elections and electoral registration.

This is a great opportunity for an established electoral administrator to take the next step in their career or for an experienced Deputy Electoral Service Manager to pursue a new challenge.

The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be able to work accurately under pressure. You will also have the ability to use your own initiative and work well as part of a team.

We offer a competitive salary of £35,713 - £38,680 per annum (up to £40,614 per annum including 5% market supplement for an outstanding candidate) and a range of benefits including 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, hybrid working, and a local government pension scheme.

Relocation expenses will be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Electoral Services Manager in the effective delivery of elections and electoral registration
  • Work accurately under pressure and have a keen eye for detail
  • Use your own initiative and work well as part of a team
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of electoral services policies and procedures
