We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team in East London. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Registered Home Manager in the day-to-day operations of the Young People's Service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a safe, warm, and stable environment for young people aged 11-17 with emotional/behavioural disorders and/or mild learning difficulties.
- Create a culture and ethos within the home where the needs of the young people are paramount.
- Support and encourage young people to effectively manage difficulties and issues facing them.
- Work collaboratively with young people, their families, residential workers, and other relevant professionals.
- Listen to young people and enable them to participate in socially valued activities and interests within the community.
- Proficiency in children's residential care.
- Ability to attend relevant training, including QCF Level 3 Children and Young People, Team Leading Level 2&3, and QCF Level 5 Leadership in Care.
- Leadership development and supervisory management training.
- Prior management, leadership, supervisory, or business management certification is beneficial.
A competitive salary of £35,000 and the opportunity to transition into more senior managerial posts.
