About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced individual to join our team as a Deputy Electoral Services Manager. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of elections and electoral registration within New Forest District Council.

As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the Electoral Services Manager, providing essential support in all aspects of electoral administration. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, demanding accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the planning and execution of elections and referendums
  • Managing electoral registration processes
  • Ensuring compliance with electoral legislation and regulations
  • Providing administrative support to the Electoral Services Manager
  • Liaising with stakeholders, including candidates, political parties, and the public

About You

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated individual with proven experience in electoral administration. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a strong work ethic and commitment to accuracy.

A proactive approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential qualities for this role.
