Lead Pharmacist for Regional Infectious Diseases Unit

NHS Lothian is seeking an experienced and motivated pharmacist to join our team as a Lead Pharmacist for the Regional Infectious Diseases Unit at the Western General Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients with complex and chronic infectious diseases, including HIV and HCID.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical services.
- Develop and implement local, regional, and national strategies to improve pharmacy services.
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
- Contribute to the development of the pharmacy team and service modernisation.
- Registered as a Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Post-graduate qualification in clinical pharmacy (Diploma/MSc or equivalent).
- Independent prescriber qualification.
- Experience in service development and staff supervision.
