Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic pharmacist to join our well-established pharmacy team delivering service to the Department of Clinical Neurosciences.

The successful candidate will work closely with the multidisciplinary teams and be responsible for cost-effective and safe use of disease modifying therapies and research initiatives within the department.

The post holder will also contribute to the delivery of pharmacy service, participate in ongoing service development, teaching and quality improvement initiatives.

The role includes the development and running of pharmacist lead prescribing clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work across both inpatient and outpatient services
  • Contribute to the delivery of pharmacy service
  • Participate in ongoing service development, teaching and quality improvement initiatives
  • Develop and run pharmacist lead prescribing clinics

Requirements:

  • Master of Pharmacy Degree or equivalent
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Relevant post-registration experience with evidence of postgraduate training and professional development
  • Confident communicator with adaptive leadership skills
