NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at University Hospital Crosshouse. As a key member of our Oncology team, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical pharmacy services to patients with cancer and blood disorders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oncology and Haematology, with experience in working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating clinical pharmacy services, as well as working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert clinical pharmacy services to Oncology and Haematology patients
  • Developing and implementing clinical pharmacy services to improve patient outcomes
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Participating in clinical governance work, including local and national specialist groups

Requirements for the role include:

  • Masters of Pharmacy Degree or equivalent
  • Postgraduate qualification to Diploma level in Clinical Pharmacy (or demonstrable expert knowledge to that level)
  • Practice Certificate in Pharmacist Independent Prescribing
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (including evidence of CPD)
