Job Title: Specialist Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic pharmacists to join our clinical pharmacy team at NHS Forth Valley. As a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a key role in providing inpatient services to our speciality areas, working as an active member of the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide inpatient services to our speciality areas, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Join ward rounds and actively influence and independently prescribe in the speciality area.
  • Take the lead for speciality inpatient services with support from the directorate Lead Pharmacist.
  • Be responsible for the training of rotational pharmacists.
  • Contribute to and lead research activities in speciality areas.
Requirements:
  • Be a well-rounded practitioner, working towards or having completed Foundation Training.
  • Be qualified as an independent prescriber or be willing to undergo training.
  • Have strong leadership skills and be able to work effectively in a team.
  • Be flexible and able to work in a busy, challenging environment.
  • Have a positive, can-do attitude and be committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
