About the Role:

We are looking for a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in NHS Fife. The role involves working as part of a dynamic team to deliver high-quality patient care and develop clinical skills through rotational opportunities.

About the Programme:

The programme is designed to provide pharmacists with the opportunity to develop their clinical skills across various specialities, including cardiology, medicines for elderly acute, and respiratory/ blood borne viruses. The programme is based in Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline areas, with some rotations taking place in other locations.

What You Will Do:

As a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for working as part of a team to deliver high-quality patient care. This will involve developing clinical skills through rotational opportunities, working with pharmacy technicians, foundation pharmacists, and senior clinical pharmacists, and supporting the completion of a relevant postgraduate framework.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and have a passion for patient care. Previous hospital experience is not essential, as training and support will be given. You will also be required to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
