About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Highland Fuels Ltd for a HSEQ & Security Advisor, with occasional travel throughout Scotland.

The successful candidate will be based at our headquarters in Inverness and will play a key role in supporting the business in achieving its HSEQS strategy and driving compliance with the highest standards of safety, health, environment, quality, and security throughout the organisation.

  • Manage risks: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the company's operations.
  • Provide training: Provide training and education to employees on HSEQ and security matters.
About You

You will have:

  • Strong organisational skills
  • Effective training and coaching skills
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate across the business
  • Experience in 'High Hazard' Industry
  • NEBOSH qualified, or equivalent
  • Fire Risk Assessor certificate is desirable
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO and quality management
  • Experience in bulk fuels storage, transport, marine bunker operation are desirable
  • Experience with COMAH and DSEAR regulations is desirable
  • Experience with petrochemicals industry is desirable
  • Security and crisis management experience is desirable
