Our North Fabrication division are a service focused, performance driven business, offering construction, maintenance and enhancement solutions to a diverse range of energy industry customers. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator with the additional skills and aptitude of Dimensional Control Inspection, to join the team at our Nigg/North region.

**Job Purpose & Objective**

Outside of current Fabrication duties, deliver and maintain high standard Dimensional Control activities, ensuring conformance with client and GEG specification, in support of the GEG Group business objectives and Business Unit strategy.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Ensure compliance and efficiency for Product Dimensional Survey.
- Ensure Company and Client quality needs are understood and met.
- Keep up to date with technology development, ensuring aligned methods and resources.
- Meet quality requirements via verification and inspection.
- Advise and support supervision teams in all aspects of Dimensional Inspection and Product delivery.

**Experience & Qualification**
- High accuracy and attention to detail and be keen to keep up with new technologies.
- Be able to have good time management and prioritise the tasks assigned.
- Clear, positive communication.
- Strong MS Office skills / IT astute.
- Interpretation of design and fabrication drawings.
- Be flexible and be prepared to work shift patterns and working hours to support project requirements.
- Be flexible in their approach to this position and understand this position will be a mix of fabrication duties and Dimensional control duties.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience as a fabricator.
- Good standard of Mathematics/use of Excel.
- The ability to deliver Safe, Quality and on time tasks.

**Personal Responsibilities**

**AUTHORITY**
- Stop work if not in compliance with HSE standards.
- Challenge the norm and intervene proactively with line management on any breach of HSEQ procedures or practices.
- Request information necessary to perform the task.

**HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT**
- Comply with HSE Regulatory requirements at all times.
- Comply with site rules at all times.
- Demonstrate through action a proactive attitude towards HSE.
- Support through compliance our 10 Global Rules and HSE Policies.
- Responsible for your own Health and Safety and that of others who may be affected by your work.
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment as provided when necessary.

**PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT**
- Undertake agreed training in order to provide a framework of knowledge and skills required to perform effectively in the team/department/business unit in order to demonstrate and maintain required competency in role.
- Participate in regular reviews with relevant managers, identifying and agreeing action plans where appropriate.

**QUALITY ASSURANCE**
- Comply with and support the Business Management System within own scope of responsibilities and within the Company as a whole.
