Job Title: Academic Program Assistant

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Academic Program Assistant to join our team at the University of Delaware. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our main office, including planning and executing courses, events, and activities across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the main office in Lewes, supporting other sites throughout Kent and Sussex Counties.
  • Assist with room logistics and course execution, ensuring compliance with state, local, and University regulations.
  • Supervise support staff to ensure member satisfaction with technology.
  • Coordinate instructor and volunteer recruitment, training, and development.
  • Coordinate scheduling of courses across locations and modalities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and three years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working with older adult learners.
  • Proficient in typical office and education technologies.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to make independent decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively with diverse constituents.
