Job Overview

The University of Delaware seeks a highly skilled and experienced Program Coordinator to join its Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about lifelong learning and has strong administrative skills.

This role will play a crucial part in developing and implementing programs that cater to the educational, cultural, and intellectual needs of older adults in Kent and Sussex Counties.

Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Assist the Director in expanding and diversifying OLLI program initiatives, with a focus on curriculum development and instructor recruitment.
  • Office Operations: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the main office in Lewes, ensuring smooth operations and supporting other sites throughout Kent and Sussex Counties.
  • Event Planning: Coordinate the planning, logistics, and execution of courses, events, and activities at various locations, adhering to state, local, and university regulations.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise Classroom/AV Support staff to ensure high-quality service and member satisfaction with online and in-classroom technology.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. You should also possess strong critical thinking skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in typical office and education technologies.

A valid driver's license, insurance, and personal vehicle for non-commute travel on University business are required. The salary range for this position is $ 60,000 - 80,000 per year.
