Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and empathetic individual to join our team as an Education Assistant. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with children and young adults with complex neurodisabilities, providing them with the support and resources they need to thrive.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting students in various aspects of their educational journey, including academics, social skills, and emotional well-being. You will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement effective educational programs, ensuring that each student receives a tailored approach to meet their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist students with their academic work, providing additional support as needed
  • Help students develop essential life skills, such as time management, organization, and self-advocacy
  • Collaborate with teachers and therapists to identify and address areas of student concern
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and research-based interventions

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £18,339-£20,050 per annum (32.5 hours/week) or £11,003-£12,030 per annum (19.5 hours/week), depending on experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes a generous holiday allowance, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development.
