About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Consultant Physician in Stroke Medicine to join our multidisciplinary team at Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-standard care to the local community as a Consultant Physician in Stroke Medicine.
Main Responsibilities
The post holder will be involved in daily ward rounds, reviewing new patients, HASU patients for the first 72 hours, and ASU patients. They will also participate in weekly stroke ward MDTs, chairing in turn.
The post holder will take part in Regional out-of-hours on-call, which is shared with consultants at Maidstone Hospital. This on-call is done using Telemedicine.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have a wide experience in Stroke Medicine, full and independent management of clinical patient workload, and experience of teaching doctors-in-training and undergraduates.
They will also have experience of clinical audit and collaborative clinical or laboratory research.
