About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications and Engagement Lead to join our team and play a key role in the redevelopment and futureproofing of our hospital services.

As a Communications and Engagement Lead, you will be responsible for developing and delivering communications that engage stakeholders at all levels, from local to national and political.

You will work closely with the Our Future Hospital Programme team to provide specialist advice and support the delivery of business cases at strategic, outline, and full business case levels.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing complex engagement plans for large programmes
  • Providing leadership, guidance, and education to junior team members
  • Creating and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing environment

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Communication and engagement experience on high-value estates projects
  • Experience of working within the NHS
  • Proven experience of developing complex engagement plans for large programmes
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
