Firmware Development Expertise

As a Principal Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and developing firmware for airborne applications. Your key responsibilities will include designing VHDL-based FPGA designs, verifying designs using VHDL or SystemVerilog, and working to a structured firmware design process.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop VHDL-based FPGA designs using Model Driven Engineering tools.
  • Apply advanced verification techniques, including UVM, to ensure design quality.
  • Work with current FPGA technologies from Xilinx, Altera, or Microsemi and their tools.
  • Specify complex timing and area constraints for efficient FPGA place and route.
  • Support system-related verification and integration.

Security Clearance:

All applicants must be capable of gaining a UK MOD Security Clearance due to the sensitive nature of the project.
