Job Description

We are seeking a talented Principal Verification Engineer to lead our verification efforts in Edinburgh, UK.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing verification strategies for complex hardware designs. The estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £110,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role
  • Verification Strategy: Architect and define verification strategies for complex hardware designs.
  • Verification Environment: Design, develop, and enhance the verification environment using UVM methodology.
  • Metric-Driven Verification: Drive metric-driven verification processes to ensure high-quality and reliable designs.
  • Tech Leadership: Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior verification engineers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful verification and validation of designs.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the verification process and methodologies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in verification of complex hardware designs.
  • UVM Expertise: Proficiency in UVM and other advanced verification methodologies.
  • Verification Architecture: Strong understanding of verification architecture and metric-driven verification.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Leadership Experience: Leadership experience is a plus.
