We are seeking a highly skilled financial professional to join our team as a Financial Director for Property Operations. With a salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, this role offers a competitive compensation package.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the financial direction of our Property Directorate, working closely with the leadership team to develop and implement financial strategies. You will be responsible for managing financial services and support related to property development, asset management, capital investment, repairs and maintenance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing financial forecasting tools to enable management to track and deliver on development and assets strategies;
  • Ensuring accurate financial records and maintaining key reconciliations for capital expenditure;
  • Meeting financial accounting deadlines to prepare timely monthly management accounts;
Budgeting and Budgetary Control
  • Providing financial guidance and support to senior management;
  • Supervising and reviewing the preparation of monthly management accounts for the entire property directorate budget;
  • Preparing annual property budgets, including uploading budgets to the financial system and ensuring all budgets agree with approved plans;
VAT Management
  • Ensuring VAT is properly accounted for and submitted in accordance with shelter and partial exemption agreements;
