About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced fault analysis engineer to join our team at Prospec Associates. As a senior fault analysis engineer, you will play a key role in leading investigations into reported faults, developing and executing testing and trial plans, and providing guidance and support to junior team members.

Responsibilities

  • Determining the root causes of reported faults using recognised analysis processes.
  • Engaging with multidisciplinary teams during the definition and investigation phases of 8D processes.
  • Documenting investigations in a timely manner.
  • Conceiving, planning, overseeing, and executing tests and trials to establish the root causes of reported faults.

Requirements

  • A relevant engineering qualification (e.g., mechanical or electrical).
  • Experience in fault or failure investigation, or of test or development in a similar, relevant environment (e.g., automotive, aerospace, precision engineering).
  • Considerable experience working with mechanical parts and/or machinery.
  • Practical experience in the use and application of various tools and techniques for fault analysis.

Estimated Salary

$120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
