About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Analysis Specialist to join our team at Yasa Limited. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for determining root causes of reported faults using recognised analysis processes such as 8D, Five Whys, Fault Tree etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine root causes of reported faults using recognised analysis processes
  • Work with mechanical tooling and parts in mechanical engineering environments
  • Document lessons learned from investigations for incorporation into YASA's product range
  • Conceive, plan, oversee and execute tests and trials to establish root causes of reported faults
  • Set out clear investigation strategies for Technician colleagues

Requirements:

  • Relevant engineering qualification (e.g. mechanical or electrical)
  • Exposure in fault or failure investigation or test or development in a similar environment
  • Experience working with mechanical parts and/or machinery
  • Pragmatic approach to problem-solving and ability to apply knowledge to real-world situations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Salary Range: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum
