Senior Quantity Surveyor Wanted for Principal Civil Engineering Contractor

RGB Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Principal Civil Engineering contractor in the South West of England. The company is embarking on exciting projects in the region, and this is an excellent opportunity for a skilled QS to take on a key role in the commercial department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
  • Monitor changes to project designs and construction work, adjusting budgets accordingly
  • Perform risk management, value management, and cost control
  • Allocate work to subcontractors and manage their performance
  • Provide expert advice on contractual claims and disputes
  • Analyze project outcomes and write detailed progress reports
  • Value completed work and arrange payments to subcontractors
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering projects
  • Knowledge of cost control and NEC 3 Contracts
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
