Job Overview:

Huntress Search Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Financial Support Specialist to join our team in Hammersmith. As a critical member of the finance function, you will be responsible for providing financial support, processing transactions, and coordinating banking activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process transactions, including purchase ledger, nominal ledger, payroll journals, general journals, and bank posting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  2. Support the accountant in setting and monitoring budgets, assisting non-financial managers in interpreting and preparing related information.
  3. Provide training and support to colleagues in using financial systems and tools, resolving problems as needed.
  4. Coordinate banking activities under the direction of the Operations Manager and CEO, maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
  5. Monitor and manage utility contracts, making bill payments in line with company policies.
  6. Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures and policies, maintaining transparency in all financial dealings.
  7. Attend and minute meetings, including finance and investment meetings, providing clear records.
Requirements:
  • Proven expertise in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to support colleagues with limited IT and finance skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
Salary:

£27,000 - £33,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Benefits:
  1. 28 days' holiday + Bank Holidays + Christmas closure.
  2. Company Pension scheme.
  3. Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm working hours.
