The Role of a Paraplanner at Financial Divisions

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paraplanner to join our team at Financial Divisions, a boutique independent practice based in the London area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 100% support to our Financial Adviser and her longstanding clients, working autonomously and unsupervised to ensure the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research based on meeting clients' financial needs and objectives
  • Understand investment portfolio analysis and compile investment/pension/protection illustrations and documentation
  • Create and prepare technical suitability reports
  • Ensure FCA regulations and compliance are met
  • Support with ad hoc projects and tasks where required
  • Review and understand existing scheme information from providers
  • Use research tools / systems to complete detailed analysis
  • Cashflow modelling

About You:

We are looking for an experienced Paraplanner with a minimum of Level 4 Diploma standard, who has a solid understanding of key areas of financial planning and advice, including Pensions, Investments, IHT and Estate planning, and personal and business protection.

Requirements:

  • Qualification to a minimum of Level 4 Diploma standard
  • Experience in a paraplanning role, preferably within an independent or whole-of-market practice
  • Excellent Word and Excel skills
  • The ability to work autonomously and unsupervised, and to always have the clients' best interests in mind in all aspects of the role
